Gomoku is the Japanese name of an ancient Chinese logic game. The game is played on a board (goban), lined with lines. The traditional version provides for playing on a 19 × 19 field, in the sports version a 15 × 15 field is used. Players alternately put black and white stones on the board. The goal is for one of the players to build a continuous row of exactly five stones of their own color vertically, horizontally or diagonally. An internet connection is required to work.
