Here is a simulator (simulator) parking and maneuvering in a confined space.

The parking simulator is implemented in the form of a motion trajectory editor and works according to the following principle:
Unscrewed the steering wheel, set the desired gear - we move in the specified direction...
We changed the gear, unscrewed the steering wheel - we move on...
When we reach the goal, we stop.

Thus, the trajectory is divided into sectors characterized by constant motion parameters (direction of movement, steering position). The movement parameters at the current point are changed using the steering wheel and the direction change buttons (lower left corner).

Movement along the trajectory is carried out by means of the navigation element Jog-dial (lower right corner). If we perceive the movement along the trajectory as a video recording, then Jog-dial performs step-by-step video playback both forward (clockwise rotation) and backward (counterclockwise). Fast rotation of the Jog-dial is equivalent to rewinding, slow rotation will allow you to thoughtfully view the crucial moment or accurately position the car in the right place on the trajectory.

The simulator does not have the usual gas and brake buttons, instead, when the parameters are changed at the editing point, an instant calculation and display of the updated trajectory takes place. Thus, the user, even before starting the movement, has the opportunity to dynamically analyze the dependence of the future position of the car on the steering wheel, which significantly increases the efficiency of accumulation and processing of statistical data necessary to develop the necessary skills.
