Huawei's new processor surpassed Samsung's top Exynos in the benchmark

The test results of the latest HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor in the GeekBench 3 benchmark bypassed the test results of the Exynos 7420 processor from Samsung installed in the top devices of 2015 (Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 and higher).

According to the leak, Huawei's newest processor has a quad-core Cortex-A72 processor and a quad-core Cortex-A57 with 2.4GHz on board. It works with LPDDR4 RAM (it has 40% reduced power consumption and increased data transfer speed), and is also capable of working with a camera up to 42 MP.

According to the test results, Kirin 950 scored 6,096 points (with multi-core loading), Exynos 7420 scored 4,970 points. This benchmark tests only computational abilities, without graphical capabilities.

It is expected that this chipset will appear in the Huawei Mate 8 device.
